Pam, I am very sorry to see that you are so dissatisfied. I apologized many times for the lack in communication on my part while we had Milo. Honestly, we were busy focusing on working with the dogs, and I forgot to update. We are a small, family business and the updates are up to me. I dropped the ball on that, and again I apologize for. Our clients generally text me every few days or once a week to check on their dogs. At drop off, my husband did come out to help kennel Milo due to his size and strength. He is one of our trainers. What you refer to as a garage is actually part of our house that is also heated and cooled. It’s the room adjacent to our kitchen and dining room. I wish you would have contacted me directly with your issues. I had no idea you were having problems with Milo. We are always glad to provide follow up training. Sometimes it takes some extra practice with puppy parents for the puppies to get the hang of responding well to you and for you to learn how to work with them. When we returned him to you home in Oxford, he was super excited and happy to be there. Milo did really well and was listening and responding. We showed you everything he had learned and how to follow up with his training. Follow up training is very important. He is just like a kid and will try to push you to get away with whatever he can until he figures out his boundaries with you. You can love him all you want to, but he does need to understand his boundaries. It’s especially important because of his size and excitability. We are still more than happy to come to work with you to get him back on track. Milo is an incredibly smart dog. He is very strong and was unable to be walked easily when you brought him to us. We did want to take extra time with him because we wanted to make sure he was good around a lot of distractions, so you would be able to walk him without him pulling and jerking you down. By the end of training, we were able to take him to a local festival where he was loved on by many people. He was polite without pulling and jumping and sat to be petted. He was patient and enjoyed all the activity without getting so excited that we couldn’t hold him. He can be that way with you as well if you will let us work with you more.
