I cannot recommend Chelsea enough. She helped me turn my already good dog into a specimen of canine perfection. Last December 2018 I was lucky enough to adopt a really mild, well behaved young dog from Watauga Humane Society (which is exactly where you should adopt your next dog from). I didn't put much training into my new dog at first because he was already so well behaved. Then in April 2019 I ran across Chelsea's website and saw that the classes were really affordable and thought why not? Chelsea uses methods of training that coincide with the way dogs naturally communicate, so the dogs respond quickly and there's little for them to "learn" because they already know this stuff. More or less, she's training YOU how to communicate with your dog. I saw massive improvements in my ability to communicate with my dog after the first week. It was quite obvious that he was starting to see me as the alpha, and was obeying better than I ever thought possible. His social anxiety completely went away. I can now have him in any public setting and he'll compose himself in a calm, relaxed manner while never reacting to anything. I get so many compliments on his behavior. I'm always sending everyone Chelsea's way, and I hope you do your dog the favor of getting a little bit of training as well. This training is not just for "bad/problem" dogs. Every dog could fit into a family better if we knew how to communicate with them on their level. I promise you won't regret taking a class with Chelsea.

Chelsea is a compassionate and exceptionally knowledgeable trainer who has been instrumental in us setting our puppy up for a successful journey towards adult doggy life. It's amazing how much I've discovered about myself throughout the Composed Canines class! Realizing how our behaviors within the home impacts our dog's responses has been huge. My husband and I are both quite grateful for the help that Chelsea has provided to us over the last 1.5 months; we could not have asked for a better resource.
