I highly recommend Jorge! I have a 2 yo English Lab and previously went through basic puppy-intermediate level training through Dogs Best Friend in Madison. I primarily needed help with impulse behaviors during greetings and on-leash interactions as well as public-places behavior. After working with Jorge, I can take my dog into any situation and feel confident that he will succeed and I have a ‘playbook’ to work from as we continue to fine tune things down the road. Jorge is skilled at interpreting the nuances of your dog’s behavior and is an enthusiastic and supportive teacher!

Jorge was my first ever dog training experience but let’s just say, I will never work w/ someone else. He does a great job of explaining why and how. He’s very friendly when delivering information but isn’t afraid to tell you what you need to hear. He was a great advocate for my cane corso pit mix and taught us so much. My dog was improving after every lesson. Bonus points because Dozer loved him. If you want someone you can trust, go with Jorge.

Jorge was a fantastic help to us! Yogi is our first dog and while we had some obedience classes, we were struggling with the day-to-day stuff of having a chill, polite, and happy dog. Jorge was a fantastic resource that taught us a lot during the sessions, as well as being available outside of session time to answer any questions we had. This helped us figure out how to manage our dog's energy, get more comfortable with leaving and setting us up for success now and into the future. Would highly recommend if you are looking for help with any part of dog training.
