Eliza is the best! My fiancé and I have a super energetic and loving pit mix puppy who could get a little too over the top and excited. After just a few short weeks of lessons with Eliza, she was turned into a well behaved loving little baby. We couldn’t be happier and hope to have Eliza tackle our older Pomeranian next! If you are considering training your dog, I would 100% recommend calling Eliza.

I have had such a great experience working with Eliza during day trains and private lessons! She has helped my dog, Kona, tremendously with leash walking, obedience training, and gaining confidence in new environments and everyday life. Eliza is a fantastic trainer and someone we truly trust with Midas. She was recommended to us by another trainer we trusted when we were moving from California, and from the beginning, we felt confident that Midas was in great hands. She completed two board and trains with our French bulldog, along with several private lessons with us so that we could continue reinforcing everything at home. What we appreciated most about Eliza was her patience, flexibility, and understanding that training is not one-size-fits-all. She really understood the nuances of Frenchies, including their personalities, stubbornness, sensitivities, and what motivates them. Rather than starting over, she built on the training foundations we already had with Midas and introduced new approaches when we were struggling with certain behaviors. She was also great about training us as owners, helping us better understand how to communicate with Midas and be more consistent and confident in different situations. Her training has made a lasting difference in our everyday life with Midas, especially when it comes to communication, structure, and being able to take him confidently into different environments. She also helped us work toward and successfully earn his Canine Good Citizen (CGC), which was a huge accomplishment for us. Beyond being an excellent trainer, Eliza genuinely cares about the dogs she works with. We are extremely particular about who we trust to train and care for Midas, and Eliza is one of the very few people we feel completely comfortable leaving him with. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, patient, and thoughtful trainer who takes the time to understand both the dog and the people on the other end of the leash.

I recently moved to the area and was looking for dog trainers for my new puppy. Luck have it I found DLS and Elisa. She was the perfect fit for Daisy Jean. She was very patient and took her time with Daisy as she was scared the first couple of weeks. I loved the short videos I got sent during the training day. I also loved that I could text her with questions and she answered so quick with remedies. I loved that Daisy was around all dog types as my daughter was bringing her beagle to visit. And after a day and some guidance they were bff's. Another plus is boarding. I also combined one of the boarding days with a training session. It was a win win.

My 2.5 y/o chihuahua terrier mix came back from a 4 week board and train with Eliza about a month ago. We had 2 out of our 3 training sessions in our home and we are absolutely thrilled. We finally have a family dog! He was able to be outside with us all day, no leash for my daughter's 4th Birthday party. No jumping all over the kids, chewing up the kids toys, barking non stop. He wont even chase a deer anymore and I dont have to tell him no. Prior to this my husband was ready to be done with him. I was a bit nervouse to start but couldn't have asked for a better experience! Eliza was so good with the communication, sending us video updates. I could clearly see that Cooper was happy being there with her family, other dogs and the few other board and trains she has. She clearly cares about the dogs. I would %1000 recommend this and would do it again in a heartbeat if we were to get another dog again. It may seem pricey but it was well worth the money.
