Don’t expect to easily obtain a fair refund from this dog training business even if you follow their “refund policy”. I paid $1795 up front for 10 sessions. Unfortunately, after the initial training session, I had stop the training and request a refund of $1795 minus the cost of the one session $179. I finally received a refund of just $1300 and immediately contacted Dog Academy. After many phone calls and emails I was told the first session is not actually a training session, but a meeting for the trainer to gather information, observe, evaluate, etc. AND therefore the cost is $495 of the total cost of $1795! So my refund Is $1300. What? At no time was this mentioned nor is it found in their literature. My first session with their trainer was a training session! Charging $495 for the first session, whether it’s training or not, is impossible to justify. Dog Academy’s so called refund policy is grossly unfair and should be modified. It also needs to be accurately reported to prospective clients
