My 3 year old Sheltie has been in the 5 week Obedience Program from Dog Academy..He's in the transitional phase of returning to me to follow thru what he has learned...Before the program..he would pull on the leash...bark like nothing you've could imagine...even raise up on back legs ...I'm kinda elderly...and it would rake all I had to control him...Tonight..just after 2 days home we met our first challenge.. was in elevator ..door opened and a black lab was standing there...ready to play n come In...my dog did nothing...didn't even bark...didn't lunge..just sat there. Of course he was was awarded.. If you ever need you and your pet trained in a well mannered dog. as old saying..children should be seen. not heard...my dog is learning thar with this fantastic program...You won't regret it..... ..

I had a fantastic experience with Dog Academy LLC. They boarded and trained my dog, Sadie, and the results are amazing. She came home happy, more obedient, and clearly well cared for. What really stood out was how much time they spent teaching me during her drop off back home. They made sure I understood how to continue the training at home, which gave me the confidence to reinforce everything Sadie learned. This is very important. The owners at Dog Academy LLC are knowledgeable, patient, and truly passionate about what they do. Dog Academy has done wonders for my 6 month old Maltese puppy! I sent him off to their boarding school for 3 weeks asking them to train him basically from scratch… a clean slate. I didn’t have the time or patience to train a new puppy and asked them to do all the hard work for me. They did just that! They gave me the tools to maintain his teachings and stressed the importance of consistency. I’ve followed their instructions. He’s been home less than a week now and he potties outside, on schedule. He no longer chews on everything and if he starts to I just tel him his key word and he stops. He no longer barks incessantly. I let him bark when I want him to (I.e. stranger at the door), but he quickly stops when I say his special word. He also goes in and out of his crate on my command. I’m SO thankful for Andrea and Shaun and the rest of Dog Academy who contributed to his success! The 3 week boarding school was worth every penny, and I was so grateful to have frequent updates and videos of his progress as I missed him so much! I appreciate their timely communication and readiness to help, even now that he’s home. They are still available for my occasional questions. I recommend Dog Academy LLC to ANYONE looking to train their puppy, even a 6 month old puppy with NO prior training! 5 stars ⭐️

After 2 years without a dog, and after being with little Flora, our daughters Yorkie trained at Dog Academy, we realized we could have another dog in our lives and still travel freely with him which was extremely important to us. We found little Harley Paxton, a 5-pound male Yorkie, and after a short 2 hours with our new baby, we left him in the safe and thoughtful care of Andrea and Dog Academy LLC Weeks later we returned to find a well-behaved little guy that understood all of his commands and most important, he had developed the comfort of a small travel kennel with the ability to stay calm, be quiet, and be happy while traveling. Our first adventure was a 9-hour journey thru 3 airports and 5 hours of flight time. He never made a single peep. We were so proud of him, and we are so thankful that we found Andrea and Dog Academy LLC.
