Dog Dudes K9 Training

I have a German Sheppard/Lab mix that is the sweetest big baby but the bigger he got the harder it was to control him. I was even scared to walk him in the neighborhood or take him to the park because he barks at people and other dogs, wouldn't listen when you tried to get him to stop. I called Dog Dudes and did the board and train. Andy literally transformed my dog from an unruly, short attention span, not wanting to listen to any word I tried saying to a well behaved, listens to ALL of his command and worked on his self control so that now we can take walks in the neighborhood and can even take him in our front yard off leash and not worry about him running off. I swear I got a completely different dog back and he's so happy. Andy took such good care of him. Everyday I got a video update of my dog Jax with everything he was being taught that day. Since we have brought Jax home he has been much more relaxed and easy going. I cant even being to thank Dog Dudes and Andy for all the work they put into him.

My 11 month old Double Doodle was dealing with leash reactivity, barking in the car non-stop, and biting me sporadically. I was at the point where I was starting to fear going for walks with my 62 pound dog. When I tell you I was at the end of my rope...I was on the phone with the shelter when I contacted Andy. He was patient with me. He didn't dismiss my concerns. But he was also adamant that he could help me. I love my dog and I thought he deserved the chance to live with our family and be loved because once a dog is labeled as a biter they dont stand a chance. Let me tell you...Andy took my dog for the two week board and train. It was an investment. Cause that's not a little bit of money. But was it worth it? Day one I got a video of my dog's progress. First of all, he was happy. That's a plus. He had adapted to his new surroundings without stress. He loved Andy and the other dogs that he had at his home. He was responding to the commands. I was like...okay, let's see what happens. By the end of the week he was at a festival with other dogs, kids, and noise. I watched my dog. My leash reactive dog navigate a crowd and not bark at anybody. 😮 He went through those distractions in a way he never would have with me. I was pleased to see the process was working. More time passed and he was taking commands without the leash. I never would have trusted him off leash. Then came the moment of truth. We went to pick him up. I'm like...okay, he did all this stuff for Andy, but will he do it for me? The answer to that question is yes. YES!!! OMG! He walked off leash at my side. He sat when told. He laid down, which was a command he never took to before. But the absolute moment of truth came when we got home. Do you know, my dog after being home for a few hours and getting comfortable made an attempt to nip at my hand. I said off and he stopped dead in his tracks. 🤯 He stopped yall! I went to pick up a towel off the floor. Normally he would have grabbed the towel and not let me get it i said off and he dropped the towel. And he made no further attempts to take it. No attempts. And the icing on the cake was that this afternoon I was able to brush him without needing a lick mat. Something I haven't ever been able to do. He went for the brush, I said off and he laid down and just let me brush him for like 4 minutes!!! I cannot put into words just how satisfied I am with this program. The fact that you get a lifetime guarantee is even better. That amount of support is beyond what you would expect from a trainer. I feel like I got a new dog back. And that makes me so happy because now I can do with him what I've always wanted. We have the relationship I've always wanted. No fear. Just love. Thank you, Andy.

Like so many others have shared, I don't even know where to start with this review. Andy is everything you read about - kind, honest, communicative, supportive, professional, and best of all, someone who will deeply about you dogs. There wasn't a moment I felt scared of leaving my dogs with him because from the start, it was clear they were in the best of hands. He thoughtfully gets to know your dog, assesses their needs, and builds a training plan around your dog. I can say this honestly because I sent two of my dogs to him and both experiences were different. This is individual training unlike any other. And what was the result? I brought home happier, more stable pups who were well adjusted and ready to live a less stressful life. Andy not only improved the quality of their lives, but directly impacted the quality of my (human) family life at home. Andy took time to work with all three of my daughters, ensuring that they each had a role with the dogs at home. I will forever be grateful for the referral to Andy. <3

We brought Andy our new to us 1 year old Doberman puppy who was introduced to us as “very rude” because of his puppy manners. It’s HARD training a dog- especially the big and stubborn ones. We called Andy based off of google reviews and the fact that he has great experience with the “bully breeds” per his page. It was the best decision we have made! Toby (the dog in question) is so different. He is so comfortable in his relaxed state and his mannerisms are incredible! He is so confident and even found his Doberman voice too haha! I cannot say enough good things about Andy and his family and the love and work they put in together as a team to help our fur children thrive and be the best versions of themselves they can be! Will never not use and recommend Andy! 100/10

I cannot express how much we loved Andy and how amazing our experience was with Dog Dudes!!! Our dog, Charlie, was struggling with reactivity and lack of confidence in stressful, high-distraction environments. Andy was so understanding and great with Charlie, and he knew exactly what Charlie needed to gain confidence. We loved the daily updates and clear instructions he shared. He really set me / my fiancé up for success with Charlie—in any environment. He’s still the same good boy that we love, but now we can take him places with peace of mind, knowing that we have full control over him / any situation We wish we could give more than 5 stars!!!!
