We are an independent dog training and boarding facility located in Columbus. We are proud to offer dog training and behavior modification to dog owners. We understand the frustration of trying to communicate with your pup. We've been there and we are here to help. It's easier than you think. I don't know. I only went there to inquire about training and pricing.

E-collars are used for some of the programs. We do not train service dogs but we can get your dog started in the right direction.

Our main training focus is family dogs. I would recommend contacting someone with service dog experience before even picking out a dog for service dog work. Most dogs do not qualify for that type of work. A lot of people want to make their family pets service dogs and in most cases it is not a good fit.
If you have a family dog that you would like to be more behaved so you can spend more time with them and do more with them that would be right up our alley. We love to help people do more with their pets.

I have two small dogs a Yorkie and a Snorkie, I tried to keep them in the house but they urinate in the house and i cant break them. they are outside now and i want to see if you can help me with this?

Ray and Tonya are fantastic! We signed up for the Puppy Obedience classes with Dog Gone Good Training and it was the best decision we could have made to get our puppy’s behavior under control. Ray brings high energy to each class and was able to help us understand how our puppy thinks, what motivates him, and how to correct unwanted behavior while rewarding good behavior. We saw immediate results as we changed our approach in training our puppy. You do have homework each week and you need to practice with your puppy on your own time - the trainers job is to assist you and teach you how to get your dog to obey your commands. The classes were very well organized and flexible - each week we brought up good things and bad things our puppy was doing and Ray and Tonya always had an answer to our issues. From a cost perspective the classes are more than affordable and we took the approach that it’s better now to pay for some basic classes while our dog is a puppy so that he doesn’t have any behavioral issues later down the road that are harder and more expensive to correct. Overall we had such a good time working with them that we were a little sad our puppy graduated! From our experience with them through the classes we trust them and will use them in the future to board our dog. I recommend Dog Gone Good Dog Training to anyone who needs help training their dog.

My husband and I had never had a puppy before, we always rescued older dogs so we were in over our heads. Puppy training turned everything around! Our new family member Ozzy has thrived with training and our older dog now plays with him. They took into consideration our own personalities and taught us how to train Ozzy accordingly. We were comfortable and they made it fun. We were worried about potty training but they even made that a walk in the park! Although our puppy has graduated Dog Gone Good still checks up on us to make sure everything is going well. I would 100% recommend them for training!

Tonya and Ray did a terrific job training our highly anxious dog. They took the time to really figure out how to help him and then showed us what we needed to do. We have since boarded both our dogs at Dog Gone Good. Tonya, Ray and the staff do a terrific job with the dogs. We appreciate having somewhere we have confidence in to leave the dogs when we travel.
