Dog Gone Good Training LLC

We took our dog to Dog Gone Good Training and there was a noticeable difference as early as Day 1. We started with a few private 1-1 lessons for Lauren to get to know us, our dog, and the lifestyle we wanted to live with our dog which allowed her to tailor the training to our specific needs. It was clear that Lauren's vast experience has allowed her to immediately connect with our pup and guide her to behaving as a polite member of society in various settings. Lauren not only trained our dog, but she also trained us - explaining the psychology of why dogs react to certain things in certain ways, and how certain training methods work best with certain dogs. After some private lessons, we moved our dog into DGG's 8 session, all-day program where Lauren trained our dog alongside a group of dogs, allowing our dog to learn how to behave with not only people but also with other dogs of various sizes and temperaments. We finished the training with a dog who is confident in herself, able to be comfortably be off-leash, and is approachable to all dogs and people she encounters. The training was truly life-changing for our dog and us, as we can now take our dog with us anywhere and not think twice about it. We are so grateful for the entire Dog Gone Good Training staff and will certainly be taking any future dogs to them!

I don’t know what we would have done without Lauren helping me train two puppies, Annie and Grace. It made all the difference in their lives and ours. She uses positive training so that as my dogs learned limits and boundaries from her, they LOVED her! Lauren brings many years of experience to her work. Sometimes I'd swear she could read the dog's mind, but it's that she understand dogs so well! We feel incredibly grateful.

I highly recommend Lauren! Loved her gentle but firm manner with the dogs and the training sessions were really fun. What I valued especially is her unique insight into dog psychology - it's so much easier to train your dog when you understand WHY they are exhibiting certain behaviors, and what your own actions signal to them. She observed our puppy in different environments (in the home, out on walks, with other dogs) and gave specific and easy instructions on how to encourage good behavior and discourage unwanted behavior. I also love the continued support. As my dogs gets older and new behaviors show up I can schedule additional sessions to address any issues.

Lauren is a compassionate, dog loving trainer. She has excellent knowledge and experience. Personally I have learned so much from her about training specific to my 'high drive' german shepherd, but a lot about dog behavior in general. She has made an incredible difference for our dog and our life with our dog. We did a board and train session with her as well and our dog became ill (not due to anything with training), Lauren contacted us and then immediately took her to our vet and stayed with her until we had arrived (which was hours since we were out of town). She was a true advocate for our dog in our absence.
