Dog Lovers Obedience School

Emily was great! We did a board and train for our puppy and the experience was fantastic! Everyone comments on how easy our new puppy is compared to when they first got their puppy. Emily is very detailed and communicates frequently about the dogs progress. When our puppy was dropped off, she had written out a schedule and a list of commands they have been working on along with tips and tricks individualized to your puppy and their behavior.

I adopted a labradoodle from shelter, he was about 8 months old. This dog pulled, was reactive, hated the crate (peed and pooped in crate), separation anxiety, was bad walking on leash. One icy day, the dog pulled so hard he made me fell and I decided I needed professional help. I contacted for board and train with recommendation from my friend. I got in touch with the owner Emily, and she walked us through what we wanted help on, gave us advice to work on things in the next few weeks before she had availability. We did a two week board and train, I drove all the way from Fairfax to Richmond because Emily was that good. When I got my dog back, he was a new dog. He didn’t pull us, was crate trained, had virtually no separation anxiety, learned how to walk like a good dog that I took him on a longer walk than I normally do. The best thing was he was crate trained, no more pooping and peeing or barking or crying in the crate. It just lifted all this anxiety off our shoulders. I highly recommend Emily and her company. I told her I was so happy that he was crate trained and such a better dog now that I could cry. She also sent daily pictures and update on his progress. Another awesome thing was he got a lot of car rides and socialization. Emily also takes her board and train to her dog school and used that to also do more training. When we got our dog back, she trained us how to continue the training to make sure he doesn’t regress. I also text her randomly to ask questions and she responds promptly which is five star service. 100000% recommend!!
