We cannot recommend Jonathan enough! His 3 training sessions are the best investment we have made in our dog by far! We asked him to come out and help us gain more control of our 10 month old puppy in preparation for a new baby arriving in October. Our biggest problem areas were jumping on people and furniture, selective listening to certain commands (drop it, come, off, etc), obsessing over other animals in the house, and worries surrounding bringing a newborn home with a puppy. We had tried all of the YouTube training videos for different scenarios, but didn’t feel like we were getting anywhere. After just one session with Jonathan and following through with his training exercises, our dog stopped jumping on the couches, jumping on us, and started leaving the other animals in the house alone more frequently. Jonathan did a great job teaching us about the “whys” behind our dogs behavior (and how our behaviors towards her feed into some of her behaviors) and how to implement strategies to get us back in control of our dog and our home. Throughout our three sessions we also worked on newborn preparation, greeting protocols when people arrive at our house, not entering the basement unless invited, and more consistency when listening to simple commands (“drop it” and “come”). We feel more competent as dog owners and a stronger bond with our dog than before. We feel so thankful to have come across Jonathan and we feel that we (and our puppy) are ready for the arrival of our baby in a few weeks😊

We began working with Jonathan to help our dog last month and in just three sessions, we have seen incredible improvements! After losing our older dog, our 7 year old lab, who has a history of separation anxiety and being reactive to other dogs, had a hard time regulating himself and understanding his place in our pack. We got to the point where we couldn’t safely leave him home alone unless he was heavily medicated and we wanted to find another way to help him if possible. We knew it was possible that he would always need medication, but after training with Jonathan, that’s no longer the case for him! We worked on building his confidence, independence and returning the alpha role to the humans. We tried out several strategies to help him be a better leash walker and also worked on a few other behaviors that needed tweaking. Jonathan just intuitively knows dogs and their needs and it was impressive to see how quickly he could read our boy and adjust his training strategies to what our lab needed. Jonathan is clearly an expert in his field, he is responsive, prompt, professional, courteous and enjoyable to be around! We highly recommend him as a trainer!

Our dog Bunty who is now 3 years old came with a lot of baggage when we got her last year's. She had sever fear aggression and seperation anxiety. Growling hair standing up. After 4 sessions with Johnathan Bunty is a whole new dog. She is enjoys meeting new people now and not as territorial as she once was. She walks besides us on the leash with no problems. He uses positive reinforcement with his training (your dog might gain a few pounds from all the treats). We now use a prong collar for walks but the prongs only touch her neck when she starts to pull. He took our dog who it was only a matter of time before she bit someone to a girl who wants anyone's attention who will give her a treat. If you are on the fence about your dog with fear aggression needing a trainer this is your man and don't wait another second because Johnathan can help you and your dog live a less stress life. He is worth every penny. He uses every minute of the hour training session helping you and your dog. We started seeing a change in Bunty day 1. He will not only train your dog to be the best version of themselves but also train you to be the best dog owner you can be.
