Dog Obedience Guy

My wife and I reached out to Jonathan for help with our 1.5 year old English Bulldog(male). Our dog was struggling with commands, over excitement when guests would come over, and at times would become aggressive towards my wife and me. Jonathan helped us out tremendously with our situation. Within three sessions, our dog was much more obedient compared to where we started. Jonathan provided us with strategies and product recommendations that significantly helped with our dog obeying commands. Jonathan understands that every dog is unique and applies that to his practice. I would 110% recommend Jonathan for any help that you may need for your pet.

We couldn't recommend Jonathan enough! We brought home our newborn 3 months ago and our two dogs needed help adjusting. Neither of them had training before and Jonathan was so patient with them and with us. He provided us with skills to help our dogs feel more comfortable around the baby. We can all be in the same room together after only 3 months. Jonathan is a lifesaver! We would absolutely use him again.

Jonathan was the single best investment I made for myself (and my future self!). I did 3 sessions stretched out over several months and my dog's behavior change was remarkable, but really it was my behavior change that was the key. Jonathan taught me how to understand my dog's communication better and what she was telling me. Also, watching J with my dog was a learning experience all on its own: he's very low key, very soft spoken, never harsh with tone or touch. There's never any pulling the dog around or raising his voice to get attention. It's all very calm and soft. And my dog, who is not a fan of men, was GLUED to his every move. Her eyes were on him all the time. So I really reflected on why that was and saw being a leader is all about energy and not devaluing resources (attention, treats, etc.). I learned a ton from just watching. But don't be confused he gave me homework, too, based on where I was with my dog :). I have a bully breed that's very smart, she is not afraid of 'nuthin, doesn't like men or other dogs really, and this was just a really positive experience that was never harsh. She's a gem on leash now and I'm so much better equipped to understand how she needs help and set her up for success.
