Dog Obedience Guy

Can’t say enough good words about Jonathan and his dog training! We have a Newfoundland puppy who was crazy and getting out of control: jumping on everyone, pulling on walks, pushing the kids over. After just the first session we saw a night and day difference! It was incredible. She listened to us and followed our directions. Jonathan met us at our house a few times and then in public places to work on her skills. He taught us how she thinks and how to communicate with her. There is no assertion of force, dominance, or hitting. Our dog seemed so relieved when we better understood her, like she had a weight off her shoulders! Jonathan gave us the sweet dog we wanted and we couldn’t be happier. He’s definitely the dog trainer you want!

Jonathan was an absolute gamechanger for us with our dog Tony. Jonathan came to our house, listened to our concerns, and gave us strategies to build our dog’s confidence and address his shortcomings. We practiced the strategies with Jonathan on each visit - even taking a walk around the neighborhood with him to work on leash techniques. In only a couple visits, Tony’s confidence has grown, his walks are seamless, and he is more comfortable around guests. We can’t recommend Jonathan enough.

Jonathan was incredible to work with. When he started working with our 1.5 yo rescue lab/ pit mix, we were close to giving up. He immediately showed us skills and not only explained it but took the time to help us understand the root causes and constantly offered feedback for us. I appreciated never feeling rushed during our time as he was so patient and thorough. Our dog is now a LOVED part of our family and we can't imagine life without him! Without Jonathan's help I don't think we could have made it here ! I highly recommend him and am so thankful for all his help !
