Dog Owner’s Academy provides professional dog training in Charlotte, NC and surrounding areas using our Train As You Live™ approach. Since 2008, we’ve helped train more than 5,000 dogs through practical, real-life training designed for the moments that matter most: at home, on neighborhood walks, around guests, and in distracting environments. Our programs include private in-home dog training, board and train, puppy training, and group classes for continued practice after graduation. Dom, Amaya and Turk have been wonderful. Our dogs now know how to stay in place when the doorbell rings, don’t have to jump on guests and walk much more calmly. Even months later, they still work with us in group classes to refine to continue to improve our dog’s behavior.

Dog Owner's Academy- Can't say enough, extremely knowledgeable, available, patient and willing! It's obvious they love Dogs. Private home and public lessons and the ongoing valuable group lessons have transformed Heidi in the best of ways.

Dom was awesome with our Cavalier! He’s much more obedient than before. Still a puppy, but we’re very happy with the way things are going with him. Dom also trained my daughter-in-law’s dog. He’s practically an Angel!
