FirstBarkOwner and staff were so friendly and patient with our pup since it was his first time ever swimming. They were knowledgeable and helpful to us as first time pet owners. We have already shared their information with all of our pet owner friends! :) can’t wait to come back!

Can dogs just use the dog park or us it is always in combination with the swimming?
We are only an indoor swimming pool for dogs. There is no dog park.

Only employees are allowed in the pool for many reasons. Public pools fall under a lot more regulations. I would also have to keep the chlorine content higher if the public in using the pool, people are dirty animals. ;)

I highly doubt it, even if Peter is an amazing guy. Due to insurance and liability, owners are not allowed - only staff. Health risks as well.

I cannot say enough good things about Peter and his team, the care they give each and every dog that comes there is unheard of. Throughout your session, it is clear Peter and his team have extensive training on animal behavior and are experts in their field. The comfort and safety of every dog that swims at their facility is their top priority. I take my eight-year-old golden retriever Beau here and he is obsessed with this place. He never wants to leave and always is barking and whining with excitement when we pull into the parking lot. His brother, Ryder has never like swimming, no matter how many times he sees his Beau swim. The first time he went with us to Dog Paddle Peter gently encouraged Ryder to swim using different techniques. By the end of Ryder’s first swim session here he was hooked on swimming! Over two years of going boating, and to dog parks on lake, he has never once willingly swam on his own. We are lifetime supporters of The Dog paddle!
Love Dog Paddle, celebrated my dogs 11th birthday there with a swim session.. It's great exercise, the owners and staff are always happy to see her. Perfect cardio while being very low impact on the joints of my dog.. I highly recommend giving it a try...

This place is awesome. Been brings our 2 dogs here for years. The place is clean, and the pool is perfect. If you need help, Peter, the owner, is there for you. He works with your pups to get them comfortable and you too. After the swim, there is a bath area that is fantastic.
