From the very first moment I met Eric and Krystal, husband and wife team, I felt an immediate sense of relief and trust- I knew my two French Bulldogs, Izzy and Pua were in the right hands. I came to them during one of the most difficult and emotional times in my life. My husband had unexpectedly passed away, and both my dogs and I were going through huge adjustments. The stress and instability had started to affect Izzy and Pua, and they began getting into fights with each other. I was heartbroken and overwhelmed, and I honestly thought I might have to rehome one of them—which I never, ever wanted to do. I felt like I was running out of options and that they were my last hope. They stepped in with so much patience, understanding, and expertise. They never judged, only supported, and immediately got to work helping my girls. The care, knowledge, and genuine love they have for animals is evident every single day. It gives me incredible peace of mind knowing Izzy and Pua are with a family who treat them as if they were their own. Because of them, I don’t have to make the heartbreaking decision I feared. They helped bring peace back into my home and stability back into my dogs’ lives. I couldn’t recommend the Dog Psychology and Training Center more highly. “Wow! That’s a well-trained dog,” says it all. I can’t say enough great things about the program our 7 month old Maple went through. The simple commands taught by Eric and team are great, but the part that impresses me the most is how well thought-out the program is. If you read to materials, watch the videos, and listen to Eric, you will see everything they do has a purpose and intention that is backed by sound logic and years of training experience. Maple left her 3 week boarding about 2 weeks ago. She's doing a great job around the house and I can very easily teach her new things. But the basics also matter. Today, I saw two old ladies struggling to get their trash out to the road while walking Maple and didn't want her to bug the ladies if I helped. Told her “down” about 30 feet away on a sidewalk (beside the road no less), went and helped, talked for a minute, and then walked back to her waiting patiently on me. Her being capable to do that and me being confident that she could allowed me to help these struggling ladies! I don’t think the ladies even noticed Maple until I walked back to her. One of the ladies left with a parting gift to Eric and team… “Wow! That’s a well-trained dog.”

Eric did amazing with my 4-month old Aussiedoodle puppy Patrick. Patrick had major separation anxiety and panicked anytime he was inside his crate. We did Board and Train for three weeks, and every weekend I saw big improvements in Patrick's behavior and confidence (see photo for Patrick practicing "place" in one of our 1:1 sessions). I loved following his progress on Facebook and Instagram and seeing how Eric was taking him on outings, working with children and other dogs, and getting him familiar with setting boundaries in a home environment. Initially I wasn't sure if I could keep Patrick because I was so overwhelmed, but he improved so much that he has become a permanent part of our family. Thank you Eric and DPTC!

Eric trained our dogs, Colby and Cash, and the transformation has been incredible! Cash is a high-energy Border Collie, and Colby, our sweet rescue, came to us with significant anxiety. Before working with Eric, we couldn’t crate Colby, and both dogs were a challenge to walk on a leash. Eric addressed every issue we were struggling with. He didn’t just train the dogs—he took the time to coach us as well, making sure we knew how to reinforce the training and prevent any backsliding. Thanks to his expertise and patience, we now have two well-behaved, much happier pups—and very grateful owners.
