Dog Psychology and Training Center

At first, my husband and I were hesitant to bring our puppy Rosie to DPTC because we'd had dogs in our family all our lives and we thought we knew what we were doing. We were wrong. Rosie would have eventually gotten to be the joy she's becoming, but it would have been a very bumpy road for Rosie, my husband, me and our senior dog. Cash and Eric were patient with us and Rosie. Always focused on everyone being successful and adding value to each other lives. Senior citizens can learn new tricks after all! Many thanks!

I cannot begin to tell you how great DPTC is! The dogs are trained in a very “real” environment, which is a huge deal. That is one of the reasons that we choose DPTC. It makes way more sense for a dog to go from their home to another home then it is for them to go from their home to a weird sterile training facility. I must say, I was a very anxious about leaving our 6lb Cavapoo, Dolly, with strangers. After about 10 mins of being there I knew she was in good hands. Dolly did not have behavioral problems, she just needed to be properly potty trained, crate trained and able to walk on a leash without loosing her mind! She spent 3 weeks with Eric and she was SO excited every time we took her back and she saw him. That told me a TON about not only how they trained, but how they treated her as well. Dolly is now fully potty trained, sleeps in her crate all night without a peep and walks like a big girl on her leash. This program is an investment, but take it from me…it is worth every dollar!

We have two sibling pups adopted from the Humane Society (Trasky and Madden). After several months, they became extremely aggressive towards each. We didn't think we would be able to keep them both. Not many people wanted to take them on. It made our home super stressful. They spent three weeks here and it changed our lives! We have two amazing dogs that love each other, being able to walk them on a buzzer without a leash, sitting and placing when told, waiting to be asked before entering a room or house. They still annoy each other once in a while, but they are inseparable and love each other so much. I can't believe these are our dogs. We as a family took a session once the three weeks were up and continued with the skills/lessons we learned there at home. The dogs are still doing AMAZING a year later. Dog Psychology and Training Center was such a blessing to our family.
