Dog's Best Friend

Thank you Paul for giving us all of the tools needed to train our pups. In just two hours you made an amazing difference in our home. I appreciate your honest work. You gave us simple commands that made an immediate impact! Today is day only two and we have calm dogs! I will definitely be recommending you to anyone who is seeking a dog trainer. Our leash reactivity and separation anxiety has been solved!

Paul taught my girlfriend (Lucie) and I how to be a pack leader for our border collie mix (Scully). We did walk training, and kennel training, and behavior correction. Most importantly he showed us how our dog thinks. Now that we understand what she needs we can provide her with the leadership she craves. Scully was never a bad dog, but she did have very unhealthy tendencies that we unknowingly supported. We were treading a dangerous path that needed serious correction. I was very discouraged regarding Scully's training and had doubts that 2 hours would be sufficient, but Paul left Lucie and I with the confidence and information we need. The 2 hours we had with Paul was seriously life changing and I will carry the knowledge he shared with me for life. Paul trained us to train our dog.

Thank you so very much Paul for helping to educate us on how to bring calmness into our home. Within 10 minutes of walking through the door you were able to decipher specific behaviors and provide explanations about them. You helped me to better understand their thought process and walked me through the steps to provide the guidance that my girls have been seeking. I very much appreciate the time you spent answering my many questions and the thorough explanations and guidance that you provided. A little background - We have a 10 year old girl weighing in about 13 pounds and a 1 and a half year old very playful and energetic rescued girl weighing in at 40 pounds. We also have indoor cats. The weight difference and playful behaviors became a concern for unintentional injuries. We also have an added complication that our larger rescued girl was formerly abused and requires additional confidence building. So although this training was geared mostly towards our younger/larger girl - my older pup also responded immediately to the techniques. I cannot thank you enough for giving me the knowledge and power to help both of my girls overcome their codependent anxieties and fears of certain objects (brooms, vacuums, rain). It was pouring rain during our session which turned out to be a blessing. Going above and beyond expectations after a seeing my girl’s fear of rain alone, Paul took advantage to not only guide her with leash training but tackled her fear by walking her outside in the rain. What started as a tightly tucked tail soon lifted as she waited for further instructions and neither Paul or my girl seemed bothered by the rain by the time the walking was done. The immediate results did not end there. After the session concluded those results continued through the night when the girls slept in their own beds for the very first time ever! Thank you for teaching me the techniques to help build her confidence through becoming the lead for my girls so they don’t feel pressured to make decisions and be overly protective. You have already brought more peace into our home. So to anyone reading this review, if you’re on the fence for whatever reason - Paul is amazing and you will not be disappointed.

Paul came over a few weeks ago to help me correct my dachshund/chihuahua's aggressive behavior around strangers. I did not know what her triggers were and had been given conflicting solutions from other trainers, none of which worked! I decided I needed professional help! He arrived on time as scheduled and was able to get her under control and calm within 15 minutes. In the 2 hrs he spent at our home, he taught us how to correct all of her behavior issues. We had as much to learn as our dog! Her aggression issues are a work in progress, but we now know what technique to use so that she continues to get better. Thank you Paul for teaching us how to be more effective pack leaders so that our dog trusts us more.
