My dog is leash-reactive when she sees another dog. The Dog's Best Friend trainer came to my house to go over my dog's history and training issues. She showed me how to start the training and reminded me to work in small increments to help my dog learn new ways of reacting. Although it is early in the process I am seeing some improvements.

We have taken many of their classes at many of their locations for our current dog and our previous dog. They really work with you and give you ideas specific to your dog's issues. They meet your dog where she/he is. Our current dog was super nervous about the environment (as she has been since we got her...) And they worked to give her some privacy, and again, meeting her where she was. Both our dog's who went through their trainings came out very well trained. Of course, it depends on how much you do the homework, too, and we were pretty consistent with it with our first dog. A little more spotty with the second, and they both turned out great!
I am so grateful to have Dog's Best Friend as a trusted resource. I value the knowledge and trust the teachings of these behaviorists. Their longevity is also testimony to their work. I had a dog go through training with them in 2002, and now again in 2019.
Fantastic trainers and great classes! I have taken a couple of classes through them and found them to be very helpful! I have also done one on one training sessions. The trainers have been very enjoyable to work with and have had great suggestions for my dogs.
