Dog's Best Friend Training

The class was too big, working with over 10-15 dogs makes the class hard to focused on what is important 2) when our dog was nervous or distracted; the instructor seemed disturbed, instead of taking this as an opportunity to show what people could do in a situation like this 3) Puppy play was out of control, I understand puppies play and may play hard but sometimes it was way too rough without proper intervention 4) The outside area was not cleaned up before the class, there was dog poop that was not picked up from daycare before the class. 4) Instructor was rude to one owner whose dog was barking. She basically yelled at her saying: NEXT TIME BRING A KONG! Owner explained a reason for not having a kong and instructor acted disturbed. If anything, the owners should not be reprimanded for the dog’s behavior they are precisely attending the class to learn to control. 5) Puppies did not get a completion certificate, we were told we were supposed to pick it up in the next class. Sadly, we won’t be back to the next or any of your classes.

Aimee, Chelsey, & the team are, simply put, extraordinary. They're passionate about what they do, AND they're incredibly knowledgeable. They're very big on modern training techniques and principles that have helped us form a consistently positive relationship with our dog, Holly. Their classes have been very helpful and the training materials clear, easy to follow, and worth their weight in gold.

We’ve had a wonderful experience with Dog’s Best Friend. Our first dog went through all the obedience classes- puppy and puppy2, intermediate, advanced, off-leash, tricks and agility. The instructors are knowledgeable and friendly. Then we adopted our second dog who needed a different track- Focus skills and private consults (we saw Chelse). We feel like we have the tools to teach both our dogs the skills that they need. We consider ourselves life-long clients.

We have taken our dog to Dog's Best Friend training classes for everything from obedience to tricks to nose games and agility. We have had nothing but wonderful experiences. The instructors we've had were skilled, knowledgeable and caring. Most importantly my husband I and our pup have learned so much from the classes. Our dog is a much better behaved little guy and we are much better pet parents thanks to our experience at Dog's Best Friend. Oh yeah and the classes are really fun!
