Dog Savvy Dog Training

Our pup Mini has been energetic since we got her as a puppy. For awhile, we tried to take her to doggy daycare so she could expend some energy with other dogs. At one point, she tore a hole in the drywall at daycare and we knew we needed more help. We contacted Andrew after hearing about him from his former client. After a consultation we decided to send her to board and train for a month. When she returned, she was night and day different. While she was still our energetic, happy girl, she could express her energy and excitement in positive and acceptable ways. Andrew helped develop a schedule for her so that we could keep her energy level under control in a way that worked with our busy lifestyle. Of course he trained her in the traditional sense too so that she is able to walk better on a leash and follow commands. At the time, I was working full time and going to school full time. My husband was working full time. I don't think we could have given Mini the time and training she needed without Gleason Dog Training. If we ever get a second dog, I wouldn't beat around the bush and would send them straight to Andrew. Mini is such a happy and we'll behaved girl now and we are happy to have heard about Gleason Dog Training! We continue to stay in touch for lessons and boarding and can't say enough good things about Andrew and Brittany. They have always been there to help when we need it the most!

This was an awesome experience for us and our dog. We brought them an unruly 1 year old bull terrier who now at 18 months is transformed. The approach was tailored for him with regular learning sessions followed by practice on our own. Andrew is a true behavioral expert and is also upbeat and totally professional. Not only are we now happy with our calm loving dog but our dog is obviously happy now. Gleason Dog training made this a total win - win for us all!

Words can not even describe how impressed with Andrew and his team. Andrew helped me every step of the way with my Silver Lab puppy “Lucy” INCLUDING finding her for my exact purpose and need for a dog. At 5 months old Lucy is by far the most trained dog I’ve ever had or even ever seen. The greatest thing with Gleason Dog Training is not only did they produce an exceptional dog but they gave me the tools I needed to continue the learning and growth of Lucy. At every step of the way I have been included in the training not only in person and hand ons training but also through videos that thoroughly explains any issue I may see come up. I have two young kids and I needed a puppy from day one that listened, was a companion with my kids, didn’t jump on the table and leave the toys alone. Guess what, she does all those things. Thank you, thank you Gleason Dog Training. I look forward for both mine and Lucy’s continue growth. This is what owning a dog should be like.

Gleason dog training is phenomenal. To quickly put it, Gleason turned my terror into my best friend. I’m a first time dog owner, and the puppy I got was very strong willed and a biting, peeing mess. I didn’t know what to do with him. Since working with Gleason, not only do I have a dog that knows commands and is obedient, I have learned how to build a strong relationship with him. Learning how to communicate effectively and work with my dog has not only helped him, but has changed my life for the best. I couldn’t have done this without Gleason dog training. They are always available to chat and help with any issues that come up. Not only did Axl and myself get trained by GDT, it feels like Andrew and Brittany have become part of my family.
