We are so grateful for the work you all put in to help my hyper cane corso mix Ryder! We were almost ready to rehome him and with your two week boot camp you have changed our minds completely! Calvin was great and Demetrius was so clam and balancing while handling him. I admire the patience shown and consistency while he was there. Thank you for helping him become a much better part of our family!

Calvin and Lydia did a FABULOUS job with Toby, (our EXTREMELY energetic puppy), who entered boot camp/service dog training at 4 months old. Over the subsequent 3 1/2 months, (often sacrificially = 24/7), they faithfully invested their incredible experience, customized plan (designed specifically for Toby), and exemplar knowledge as well as loving care into our very headstrong (and darling) lab’s life. Being 15 hours away, it was hard to ever think we’d give full charge over our little guy-BUT their frequent assurances (by phone, pictures, & videos) validated their adaptive efforts. With every interaction we knew Toby was growing, learning, maturing…and establishing all the foundational building blocks for his life of service to come. Our precious canine family member returned to us a week ago ~ healthy, happy, excited, and eagerly focused to follow so many specific commands. What they gave him - shined through within minutes of his arrival home. They brought out the very best in Toby and continue to provide resources as we integrate him back into our lives. We have already been in touch several times with Calvin since his return…and are planning on weekly calls, for help in re-evaluating his progress and providing intuitive insights as we now “take the leash”…(They have also made themselves available intermittently as needed, too). Absolutely the highest of recommendations and unending kudos for this fabulous group of certified trainers…their high end facility, and life-long dedication to bringing incredible fulfillment to every dog’s life they touch (and thus to each dog’s family as well)!

Calvin and his team were undeniably on target with every expectation I had for training my dog. My puppy went to training at 3 months, I was in need of a service dog. And this was the best place in my opinion after doing extensive research. He is now a well trained 8 month old puppy that is also very well behaved. The 3 months away from my pup was tough but do able with video calls and arranged meetings were I got to see my puppy and the progress so far. Communication was daily. They went above and beyond. You also get training equipment and gear. Even helping getting vets visits knocked out. This process can be expensive but I can’t explain how happy I am with my experience during the whole rewarding process. And the training doesn’t end there they also ensure that you and your dog are still in good hangs after the initial training. When I bring him with me to Dr appointments at the Va or even bring him to help me run errands everyone is so impressed with how he acts in public. I must add that he is also completely house broken when I got him back and he is wonderful with my 3 small children. Thanks so much I tell everyone about your company.

Calvin, Lydia, and the whole team at Dog Tags Training Academy are wonderful! They’re not just great trainers—they’re kind, patient people who really care about helping you and your dog feel supported every step of the way. My 7-year-old pit bull struggled with severe dog reactivity, and walks were extremely stressful for both of us. Living in an apartment made it impossible to avoid other dogs, no matter how hard I tried. We needed real help, and with expertise and compassion, the Dog Tags team worked through his reactivity and helped rebuild my confidence too. The progress has been incredible. We recently spent three hours on a busy restaurant patio with tons of other dogs around, and my dog relaxed under my chair the whole time! Something I never would have believed if I hadn’t seen it for myself. I’m so, so grateful to this team. If you’re looking for trainers who know their stuff and truly care, I can’t recommend them enough.
