FirstBarkWould highly recommend Dog Taoist! Brad and his family have always been an incredible asset to my Remmy. Their love and passion for what they do really shows and they’re all such an amazing support for me and my dog whenever I need them. Brad spent lots of time with my German shepherd and helped get him to where he is today. I wish I didn’t have to move away, my baby misses them!!

Dog Taoist is a family-based behavioral training organization with more than 50 years of combined experience working with dogs of every temperament, including severe aggression and complex behavioral challenges. Our philosophy blends Taoist neutrality and species-respect with the principles of the Monks of New Skete, with whom we share a long-standing friendship. Our facility includes over 5,000 square feet of indoor training space across two dedicated buildings, along with acres of private outdoor land. We utilize a structured training circuit that incorporates clicker work, treadmills, elevated place training, recall and release drills, 1:1 command sessions, grooming desensitization, pack walking, agility, pack walks and so much more!

An overall great experience ! We saw an improvement just even after Brad spent 2 hours in the assessment meeting! It is obvious that his team truly cares about improving the lives of dogs and their humans. Training takes place with dogs at all levels, as well as, inside and outside to give a real life experience. Training can't be successful in a vacuum. The dogs must learn to be able to live comfortably in all situation. Brad's team brings the dogs to the town field, the sidewalks, the parking lot, to go get the mail etc. All so that they can experience noises from trucks, playing kids screaming, other people, everyday things. They are the best!

The energy and attention that they give to every client (dogs and humans alike) is something I have never seen before. We wish we had them in our lives for our previous dogs lives. It's life changing and simply amazing.
The Dog Taoist team is absolutely amazing. They are all genuine people and you can tell they truly care about not only your dog, but you and your family as well. They taught us so much and are continuing to do so every time We go there. They set families up for success to live in harmony with their dog not only at their amazing facility, but at your home too.
