Yes we can! We have trained lots of service dogs for a variety of tasks and have many therapy dogs actively working in our community.

Group class is the 2nd and 3rd Saturday of each month at 10:00am.
Class is held at 267 Salt Well Rd in Shepherdsville, KY.
We do have class outside, so dress for the weather! Please make sure you have RSVP'd to class via email, your client log in OR to 502-356-3059.

We are worried about leaving our dog. Can you share how you care for the dogs during camp?
The principles for human learning aren’t really all that different for animals. We have to meet all of the animal’s basic needs before they are able to flourish and successfully grasp new tasks. This includes proper nutrition and hydration, a clean environment, and stress mitigation.
Because we prefer to remain totally transparent with our clientele, we published our Standards of Care Policy, which informs our staff and clients of how we will treat each animal in our care, regardless of their training status.

YES! They will remember you AND the things they used to get away with when they come home. That’s why it’s imperative you keep up with the training we teach you, especially the 1st week they are home, so your dog learns the same rules they followed while with us also apply at home with you as well.
We have never had one single dog forget their owner and we LOVE seeing the sweet reunions.

NO! We do not want to change the personality of your dog. He/she will still be the same goofy, shy, stubborn, or feisty dog when they return. It’s up to us to get to know your dog’s unique personality and enhance their good behavior, not take anything away. We just teach them that calmness and obedience work much better to get our attention and the things they want. They learn to look to us and YOU for direction/permission and follow our lead anywhere!

When you send your dog to Training Camp, half of your dog’s training is with us, but the other half is reinforcement and practiced at home with you. We provide all the humans in the household with all of the the tools, techniques and opportunities they need to maintain everything their dog has learned and support them even after their dog goes home through optional in-home sessions, group classes, and more!
If we work through lessons, the owners need to understand the training concepts and be able to implement and practice at home with their dog so that training progress can continue after our sessions.

I highly recommend this facility if you need help working out difficult behaviors with your dog. I spent a long time talking to Cory on the phone asking all sorts of questions. From the very beginning I felt like she really listened and understood exactly what we needed. They were able to take our dog in right away and get straight to work. He came back home the same, sweet pup but he now has excellent manners. They also showed us how to properly continue with his training at home and it has just really changed the vibe of our house for the better. I am so happy with how the entire process went.

These ladies are the best! Our Cooper went to 3 week training at around 10 months old. He had a lot of catching up to do on manners and we had a lot to learn! These ladies helped us so much. He’s 2 1/2 now and still loves to go back for visits. They don’t just train the dogs, they love them and take them time to get to know them.

When my chocolate Lab, Raider, was about six months old, I enrolled him in a group training class. It was a disaster. He wouldn’t listen, and any attempt to walk him ended with him dragging me around. I actually became known as “the lady the dog walks.”
We thought putting up a fence would solve everything, but it didn’t. We gave him full access to the house and the large backyard, but things only got worse. He would bark at me constantly, jump on me, and even try to climb in my lap while I worked—and keep in mind, he’s not a small dog. Raider weighed about 100 pounds, and I couldn’t control him. I couldn’t even walk him anymore. He’d pull me down the street, lunging at people and dogs—not out of aggression, but because he wanted to say hi and play.
I tried walking him with my pockets full of cheese, pleading with him to be gentle, and praying no other dogs or people were in sight. The anxiety was overwhelming—and he sensed it. When we tried to leave the house, he would bolt out the door. His separation anxiety was intense; whenever I left, he’d destroy whatever he could find—usually my son’s things. I was frustrated and at a complete loss.
One day while we were gone, my mom let him out. Raider adored her, but that day he growled at her, and it scared her. That wasn’t the sweet, wild Raider I knew. I realized then something had to change—and fast.
I started calling around for help and even booked a few appointments, but ended up canceling them because none of the places felt right. Then my mom told me about Cory and her training business. We went in for a consultation, and from the start, I knew it was the right fit. Cory explained that it would take about three weeks to help Raider and that a board-and-train program would be best. Unlike other places that only offered a week of training focused solely on walking, Cory’s program addressed the root behavioral issues.
Dropping him off was tough—I was nervous but hopeful. And let me tell you: when we picked him up, I was amazed. I had a different dog. I could walk him again. He was calmer, happier, and the separation anxiety had improved dramatically. Our friends couldn’t believe the transformation.
I love my new and improved Raider. He’s not perfect—walking is still a work in progress—but now we can enjoy him, take him places, and not live in constant stress.
If you’re on the fence about board-and-train, just do it. Think of it as an investment in your family. If your child needed help, you wouldn’t hesitate—and the same should go for your dog. This was absolutely the best decision I made for Raider and for our family.

Cory and the rest of the trainers were amazing from start to finish. They are great at what they do and helped my pup so much! You get 2 report cards a week with photos and I felt very comfortable leaving our sweet Marlowe in their care. I would hands down recommend them!!

When I sent my dog Mack to puppy camp, we had almost completely given up on his potty training abilities. But the staff here were able to break through to him and took amazing care of him! Now he only potties outside and is the best boy ever. So much stress off our shoulders, would recommend this camp to anyone looking! Thank you again guys!
