This is a great place to train your dog. Everyone who works here is professional, knowledgeable, and kind. My dog is going through the service dog training program and they have always been so understanding of my disability and how it affects our attendance to classes. There was a small snafu in the begining of our working together, but they rectified the problem and offered compensation for the confusion and miscommunication. I have felt welcomed and respected every time we go and would recommend Dog Training Elite in Des Moines.

Kim is absolutely amazing! From the very beginning, she was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about helping both me and my dog succeed. The progress we’ve seen has been incredible. My dog is more confident, better behaved, and much more responsive thanks to her training and guidance. What I appreciated most was how she took the time to explain everything and gave us practical tools we could continue using at home. It’s clear that she truly loves what she does and cares deeply about the dogs she works with. I can’t recommend Kim enough. I took my Chow Chow here for help with barking, aggression, and general obedience, and the change in her has been incredible. They really took the time to understand her personality and didn’t treat her like a “problem,” which meant a lot to me. The training helped her become calmer, more confident, and much better behaved in everyday situations. She’s far less reactive now, listens so much better, and honestly just seems happier. It’s been such a relief seeing her improve this much, and I’m really grateful for the care and patience they showed throughout the process.
