Do the dogs have play time to learn to socialize with other dogs?
They sure do! That was a huge benefit and big draw for us. The dogs spend a ton of time together and learn in a great supervised environment
They don't offer any service dog training courses but their obedience training courses will help your dog on the way to becoming a service dog. Your dog will need a basic understanding of obedience skills before getting any service dog certifications.

We met Dan for our consultation, he took the time to ask us about Elroy and what our expectations were. He then went over all the options for training and how their facility works. We decided the 20 day program would get us to where we wanted to be with Elroy. All the trainers are so personable and love all the dogs. Everyone on the staff would check in and ask how it was going at home and if we had any questions or concerns or if we needed any specific skill worked on. Elroy was always excited to go in the morning and was tired and happy when he came home. The love and care they give the dogs while training is unmatched. All the trainers worked with Elroy but when it came to off leash JJ was his only trainer. JJ was wonderful, firm but caring. She really knew Elroy's personality and what worked for him to be successful. When picking up Elroy we would go over the lesson and she always took the time to demonstrate and ask if we had any questions. With every passing day we saw Elroy become more confident in following commands and knowing what we expected him to do. At the end of our program we have a dog that is well trained. We feel very confident that wherever we take him he will behave. We have had dogs for the past 30 years and hands down this is the best dog training experience we ever had.

We have been clients of DTN since 2020. Dan and his team do an incredible job teaching the dogs impulse control and to listen to their owners, which transforms them from wild pups into civilized, polite, and pleasure-to-be-around companions. I love that the dogs board at the trainer’s homes, and because Dan’s team sticks around for years, they are no strangers to the pups or owners when you bring your dog back for a refresher or boarding. Highly reccommended.
