Dog Training With Bob

Bob is great at working with dogs and their owners. He is responsive, prepares clients well for his first visit and is clear, effective, knowledgable; and I can recommend him without hesitation. Our middle aged border collie has recently worsened in her barking at people who come into the house. The barking was preventing human conversation. Bob was familiar with the behavior and had a very easy fix, which he taught us. Another annoying habit, that of excessive licking of human hands, was explained and controlled by Bob as well. What he taught us works 100% of the time. So glad I found him.

Bob was fantastic. We became the owners of a brand new puppy and we had never had a puppy before. He helped us know what to do with her the very first night and gave us extremely helpful tips for crate training, potty training, and specifics for her first days/week at home with us. Through five weeks of training he helped us learn which commands to teach first, important safety issues (door manners - teaching the puppy she can't just leave the house when a door is opened), and recommended the best equipment to invest in which saved us money and time over the long run since we didn't have to use trial and error. He used positive reinforcement and trained the whole family in how to interact and teach our puppy.

I’m so glad we found Bob’s site online, since working with him has changed things so much in training our puppy. When I first talked to Bob, I basically described needing to train our dog in almost every category, and we have made so much progress in just a short time by changing the way we relate to our puppy. By using some very simple and appropriate methods and equipment, and small corrections when needed, he is listening to commands across the board so much better now. My stress level has gone down so much since we’ve started working with Bob, because I’m seeing so much progress, and feel hopeful we can get our dog to the place we want him to get with some time and work. We’ve even made a lot of progress with resource guarding issues, which had felt very stressful before. Bob is very kind, practical, and so helpful, and is very responsive when I’ve had questions or needed to troubleshoot a situation. We are doing more sessions with him, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. I wish I started with him and we could saved a lot of time and frustration elsewhere!

First off, thanks to the other reviewers who led us to Bob. They were spot on! We did dog training with Bob and it was excellent! My dog has made leaps and bounds and continues to improve as we implement what we learned from Bob in our sessions. Also, dog training has changed! It's not the same dog training you did with your family pet as a kid in the 90s lol! Not only nicer, but more practical. Amazon wasn't delivering daily packages back then. Everyone was mostly out of the house during the week. Not so anymore. You can't have Sparky losing it when Amazon delivers and you're on a Teams meeting. The mere sit or down is not going to help in that situation. You need law and order! And that's where Bob can help. My dog loved him. She would literally look out the window and watch him drive away.
