Dog Training With Eric

Eric is a terrific trainer! He easily taught me as much as he taught our puppy (an 8 mo old bulldog/lab mix rescue.) His approach is very customized to you, your dog and your needs. He taught us the proper way to walk on a leash, how to keep my dog from chasing squirrels and bunnies, and sit stay. (Still working on sit stay.) I have seen him with other dogs and he is a dog whisperer. If you are looking for a trainer, I highly recommend Eric. You won't be disappointed.

CHERYL, MAX AND MAYBEL: As first time dog owners, my son and I were looking for someone to help us train our 1-year old black lab mix rescue, Maybel. She was adorable, but taking her on a walk was a chore as she pulled on her leash the entire time, struggling to get to other dogs and lunging and growling at every bicycle that passed. We found Eric on Pinterest, read some good reviews, and called him for some in-home training. We signed up for 4 sessions, and were not disappointed. He was prompt, professional and friendly, and helped us to understand how dogs think and how to effectively communicate with them. The training was very “hands on”, and Eric made sure we understood each lesson by having my son and I demonstrate what he had taught us for that week. He also provided us with written instructions to reinforce what we had learned, and to use as a reference between sessions. He met us in Wash Park for our last session where there were lots of bikes, rollerbladers and other dogs to address Maybel’s specific issues. We were very happy with Eric, and would highly recommend his services.
