Dog Training With Eric

Mochi and I worked with Eric for a series of 7 lessons. My goal was to have an off leash dog. Each lesson was personalized for Mochi and built upon the last or focused on any issue that may have come popped up if we were between lessons. Eric has the ability to make dog training much more approachable and not so daunting. I found Eric to be personable, calm, reassuring, and super knowledgable. He was always available to answer any questions or concerns I had. I've worked with several other trainers and I'd always fallen short on following through with the training. Not this time! Mochi is a well-mannered, on & off leash dog. I was even able to train my 10 year-old GSP, who was a leash puller, how to walk on a leash based on Eric's techniques. I can now easily walk 2 dogs at once. I highly recommend Eric to anyone who asks how I got such a well-behaved dog! I can't thank Eric enough!!

My chocolate lab, Hazel, is the dog she is today because of Eric. I am training her to be a therapy dog, and Eric took that into account to make sure our training sessions were personalized and focused on skills she would need for the future. He takes the time to address and problem solve any behaviors or concerns both at each session as well as over the phone to ensure training goes smoothly between sessions. Eric truly cares about every dog’s happiness and quality of life which shows in his training style and training perspective. We are so grateful for everything he has taught Hazel and our family, and we couldn’t have asked for a better training experience. Thanks Eric!

When I ended up with 2 puppies of a much more active breed of dog than I was used to,I decided I needed help. I asked around and my friend was very pleased with her dog trainer- Eric- so I called him. We started working together and I was impressed with how he treated the puppies and me- training them and teaching me! When an unforeseen surgery sidelined me for 6 weeks, I had Eric continue with my puppies.What a gift it was when I had recovered and they were so well trained that I was safe and secure with them.Now I am walking two 10 month old English setter puppies on and off leash. People stop us and say " your dogs are so well behaved". I love the compliments and how they behave. Eric is a wonderful trainer! Tammy W.

We adopted our rescue dog, Maggie, in December. She was fearful of everything and barked at anything that moved. I met Eric at a dog park and he saw her behavior and offered some advice, but I knew we needed a lot of help to get her under control. We hired him and within the first session we saw a dramatic difference in how she responded to us knowing the right tools to be the pack leaders. Eric understands the psychology of dogs and why they behave the way they do. We thought Maggie was aggressive toward other dogs/moving objects, but he showed us that she was actually fearful and needed us to be the leader so she could relax. Maggie just finished her 4th session and she’s a completely different dog. She’s calmer and much more responsive to our voice commands. She’s learning that other dogs can be her buddies, it’s extremely exciting to watch!! We highly recommend Eric to any pet parent struggling with tough issues and feel they don’t know how to correct them on their own. He’s awesome and we’re so happy with the results!
