Dog Training With Miri

Miri is a true professional! I've been so happy working with her. I recently adopted a 9-year-old dog who is reactive and aggressive toward other dogs, and Miri has been an incredible resource. I love her approach to training—it's practical, positive, and easy to apply in everyday life. The homework is actually fun, which makes it much easier to stay consistent and see progress. Miri is knowledgeable, thorough, and genuinely invested in helping both dogs and their owners succeed. She starts with a phone consultation to learn about your goals, understand your dog's unique needs, and answer any questions you may have. I highly recommend Miri to anyone looking for a skilled, thoughtful, and supportive trainer.

I could say so many wonderful things about Miri but I’ll keep it to one word— passionate. She took our impulsive 9 month old Samoyed puppy and transformed him into an obedient, calm, and loving dog. We are expecting our first child and Miri really understood the assignment. She worked closely with me and my husband to help us understand the pet/owner relationship, the right and wrong way to handle puppy behavior, and educated us on how to transition our home into a dog and baby friendly environment. Not only did she do all the above but she also treated our pup like her own and I’ll be forever thankful. I recommend Miri to everyone and I always will. She is not only an incredible dog trainer but now a friend. We can’t thank her enough!

I had an excellent experience working with Miri, the trainer and would definitely recommend her. From the very first session, it was clear how knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely passionate she is about helping both dogs and their owners succeed. She took the time to understand my dog’s personality and specific challenges, and created a customized training plan that was both effective and easy to follow. What really stood out was her ability to explain techniques in a way that made sense, so I felt confident continuing the training on my own between sessions. I’ve seen progress in my dog’s behavior. When we first started our sessions it was impossible for me to take my dog around people or other dogs, making me believe dogs parks would never be a possibility for us. I was wrong. We had sessions at Berkeley Marina Dog park, point Isabel. She has given me confidence to take my dog to a dog park. Training sessions were always positive, encouraging, and focused on building trust rather than fear. If you’re looking for a trainer who truly cares, this is the one to go to.
