Dog Trots

Gloria has done two training sessions with my dog, an adult rescue. She has been very helpful. She trained during the session and showed me how to continue the training on a daily basis. She also gave great advice about house training, socialization, leash walking, anti-anxiety remedies and other concerns I had. It's also convenient that she came to my home. She really cares about the well being of dogs and loves what she does. I plan on booking more training sessions in the future.

I am forever grateful to Gloria, and so happy I had the courage to seek help for a very funny dog named Marci. I adopted an extremely energetic, 6 month old Westie from my 84 year old mother who had purchased her on-line. It was clear Marci needed to learn some basic skills, but I was hesitant to take her to obedience training because she had a problem with other dogs. I went searching on-line for private trainers and found Gloria's website, Dog Trots. Gloria helped me get Marci under control with basic training skills, and to improve her social skills, Marci also spent the summer going to the off-leash dog park with Gloria. Marci adjusted well and loved her time with Gloria and the other dogs, and I realized that I needed to be able to continue with the dog park on my own. This was something I had never done before, so we headed out there together, and Gloria gave me the tour, explained proper dog-park etiquette, and how to handle Marci off-leash. Now we go nearly every day, and if we are lucky enough to see Gloria at the park with her dogs, Marci has had a perfect day.
