Dogboy NYC

DogBoy is incredibly experienced, kind, patient, and supportive! As someone with a rescue dog, it has been a journey to get my pup to be comfortable in NYC, managing her anxieties, triggers, etc. In just one session, Robert helped us to find the right equipment and baseline fundamentals for neutralization around children, *perceived threats*, and other dogs while on walks. I purchased a pack of three 1:1 sessions, and I could not be happier after only 2. Highly recommend!!

Robert was fantastic to work with! In just 3 sessions, we were able to work through most of the concerns I had with my dog, and I noticed improvements right away. He gave me clear, practical tools to keep my pup engaged and mentally enriched throughout the day. Since putting them into practice, my dog has become noticeably more relaxed, focused, and better behaved. What I really appreciated was how Robert helped me understand what’s going on in my dog’s mind and how to communicate with him more effectively. He also talked me through small steps so the training didn’t feel overwhelming. He also was instantly able to get my dog to self soothe...in our first session...which was just insanely impressive. I am feeling so much better equipped and motivated to keep making progress with my pup. I’d definitely recommend Robert to anyone looking for help with their dog!!
