At Doggie Do Good, Inc. we train many different types of Service Dogs depending on the need of the owner. We also will consider training a doggie that the owner already has if that doggie is a qualified candidate for service. All service dog training includes solid basic obedience such as: Sit, Stay, Come, Heel, Down, and Leave It. We train Service Dogs for the hearing impaired and people who are wheelchair-bound, as well as for those who need seizure assistance or help with mobility and/or balance. We also train dogs for diabetic alert and companion/psychological assistance, among other things. Please contact us for more information or to see if we can train a Service Dog to fit your needs.

Program details
Boarding at Doggie Do Good is not like taking your dog to an ordinary kennel. During your dog's stay with us, they will be in a loving home environment. Your dog will be allowed to play, sleep and eat under the careful supervision of our trainers. Your dog will have individual attention during their stay here. If your dog likes to play with other canine friends, they will be able to play in our large grassy yard with other fun loving pooches. If your dog prefers to have his/her own space then they can play in the yard by themselves or with a trainer. Whichever your dog's preference might be, Doggie Do Good provides a fun and safe environment for your doggie while you are away. We strongly recommend that your doggie completes one of our training routes before joining us for boarding. We will accept new doggies, however, if our trainers need to spend additional time correcting for nuisance behaviors while in our stay, we will contact you to discuss your options.

We take our Doggie Camp dogs everywhere including beaches, parks, and even busy shopping centers. We also train them in our home and on our property where dogs learn advanced training and off-leash commands safely. We work on basic obedience (sit, come, down, stay, and heel) with distractions so that your dog learns to listen regardless of their environment. We also address all kinds of behavioral issues including various forms of aggression, jumping, chewing, digging, barking and nipping, to name a few. We can train advanced dog obedience tasks like boundary training, nite-nite/bed (go to a bed and stay), tricks, and off-leash work as well. Doggie Camp is completely customizable to meet your needs.

Hi I want to ask if you live in another state what do you do to get the dog with it’s owner and if the owner have to pay the cost of the travel. And what do you do to train the dog with the owner if the owner can’t travel. Do you do it virtually?
So a trainer comes to me and the trainer helps me learn all the tasks the dog has learned. What is the price range of a psychiatric dog?

Hi there! We work with client's nationwide. If you live out of state and are unable to make it out to us in California for the training, we would send a trainer out to you. You would be responsible for the travel fees. When the dog is ready to graduate, it is important that we work with the handler to show them everything the dog has learned for them and how to be a successful service dog team. This is called the transfer process, and it lasts 5-7 days, this must be done in person.

Absolutely brilliant website!
The biggest problem we had is our dog came home sick with Giardia the he obtained at the Doggie Do Good Camp. Our vet told us it’s highly contagious especially in a kennel setting like that. The biggest problem we had is our dog came home sick with Giardia the he obtained at the Doggie Do Good Camp. Our vet told us it’s highly contagious especially in a kennel setting like that. The staff was nice and the training was somewhat effective. They really push for the maximum amount of training days with a “guarantee” our dog came home and continued to dig almost immediately even with training reinforcements. So I wouldn’t say there’s much validity to the guarantee. It’s definitely overpriced to have the training not 100% effective.
Just dropped off our 1 1/2 year old lab, he's a big boy and needs some basic help. See how it goes.
We are currently puppy raising a chocolate lab. Destiny is so easy to work with. She has been so responsive.
