Doggonit dog training

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Steve! The training skills we learned as owners and his ability to connect with the dog immediately were outstanding. That alone was well worth the money! To make it better: we set some goals (walking beside us properly and not jumping on people) from the beginning and accomplished major improvements after only 2 visits! So, we were able to move on to other types of training for the rest of the sessions! Something else I'd like to point out that sets Steve apart from other trainers... he listens to your story and truly cares about accomplishing your goals. Before finding Steve, we called around to many dog trainers all over Louisville, and every one told us that my standard poodle, who already had all the basics down and had been solcialized, needed to start in a kindergarten class. But Steve was the first trainer we talked to that actually listened to our story, listened to what we wanted out of hiring a Trainer. I would recommend him to anyone!!!

My name is mason I'm from Greenville Ky I give music lessons at my home and my dog became aggressive to the point of being euthanized or rehomed due to the fact of my dog biting a parent of my student. My grandmother's veterinarian recommended Steven and the work he had done before. Since our visits with him we have seen a major improvement in our dog. His aggression is not there anymore, he has learned new skills that weren't possible before the training, and he is overall a more trained dog. I would definitely recommend him and his work to anybody.

Wow....Steve is incredible with dogs.....he had my Brittany, BELLA, running through one trick after another after the first hour of training...and he did an even a better job of training me!!!...I knew BELLA had real potential to learn and absorb but Steve made it come out and quickly too. His laid back approach and calm demeanor with dogs really establishes a rapport with the dog and the owner. The best money I have spent in a long time and a well trained and well behaved dog is so much more enjoyable to have around the house.....Thanks Steve!!!!!

Steve is one of the best dog trainers I know, hands down! We found him when our german shepherd puppy was about 5 months old and completely crazy; we could barely control him, and we couldn't take him anywhere. Steve has completely transformed our boy in such a short period of time. After the first couple lessons, he was already a different puppy. He is now 10 months old, and we are still working with Steve. Everyone who comes in contact with our german shepherd is impressed by his mannerisms and self-control, and they can't believe how young he is. Not only does Steve know these dogs better than anyone else, he understands their behavior, and he has trained us just as much as he has trained our puppy (training doesn't end when Steve leaves). He is very interactive with us during training, and he even brought our young kids into the training a few times so they would know the correct way to handle him. Needless to say, we are extremely happy with Steve and would recommend him to anyone! Thanks Steve!!

We were at our wits end and ready to find our rescued Pitbull/Boxer mix a new home. He was out of control. After observing our dog for a few minutes in our home, Steve tailored a training regimen that has been absolutely amazing. After the first training session, we saw results and by the third training session, he was a totally different dog. I would highly recommend Steve. He knows how to get results~!
