Doggonit Training

Kelly came to our home last night for our first session. We had a number of issues with our new puppy that we needed help with. Kelly is such a good listener. She took the time to truly understand each issue and the circumstances around it that could all contribute to the undesirable behaviors. While we were doing some things right, we were also directly contributing to the bad behaviors. She changed our way of thinking and gave us many great ideas. I've already recommended Kelly to a friend.

I recently got a new puppy and was a little overwhelmed with being a first time dog owner, let alone first time puppy owner. I didn’t know where to start. I research local training facilities and reached out to Kelly for advice as I have known Kelly for quite some time but live about an hour from her. She quickly helped me to figure out the best place for us to train this new pup and never put any pressure on me to be trained by her. She genuinely just wanted to help and wanted what was best for Hazel. Needless to say I couldn’t justify going anywhere else and scheduled a one on one training session for the following week. Hazel and I took the hour trip up to Kelly’s training facility and all I can say was, boy it was worth the trip! She set me up with all the tools I needed to successfully train Hazel over the next month while I wait on group training sessions to open up. Hazel loved her and didn’t want to leave. I chatted about my concerns, wanting to be a good pup mom and asked anything and everything I could think of. Since that ONE session, Hazel has learned to sit, lay, and is 90% potty trained (FYI it’s been a week and I have a challenging breed). I would recommend Kelly to anyone near or far. She is amazing!

I can’t recommend this training instructor high enough. Kelly has the background, the degrees, the diligence along with a great personality. She is compassionate and teaches based on rewards. What she teaches WORKS! Though this is a “dog training class”, know, we humans need to follow , it’s really us that need training. 😂. Doggonit training is a bargain. I was stunned to find out, the big name pet stores charge the same, and I guarantee you won’t be as satisfied. Kelly is too notch and a #1 ranked dog training guru. Zoey says “hi Kelly”. 🐾🐾❤️
