DOGMAN Training

I’m a two decade dog rescuer who has mainly focused on beagles. I impulsively adopted a dog from a shelter because he looked like a senior beagle online. Turns out he was a 60lb, 9 month old shepherd mix! I was already in love, and he was coming home with me no matter what. I reached out to DOGMAN within the first week of having him because I could tell I would need help learning to interact with this new breed. William was wonderful. I really appreciate his bottom-up approach to training versus a top-down, here are some commands style. Elmore responded well to all his sessions, and maybe more importantly, so did I! Teaching Elmore boundaries and impulse control has been a game changer. He’s able to regulate himself now. Training with William helped Elmore and I establish a trusting relationship. He’s my best friend. I highly recommend William and will continue to seek his services.

We have a dog who was a pandemic puppy that was not responding to our training. After working with 3 different trainers, we were beginning to think that we might never get her to learn appropriate behavior around other dogs. After attending a presentation by William of Dogman, we decided to ask him to work with us. His approach is very different as he has a unique perspective of a dog's psyche. During the very first session, our dog's behavior and demeanor was altering in real time. We have completed the lessons and I am happy to report that we can now go on enjoyable walks with our fur baby. William truly understands dogs. Working with him has been a pleasure and a blessing for our family.
