Jonathan works absolute wonders! He took our adorable but very energetic, unruly, and largely disobedient 1st gen Goldendoodle and helped him become well-behaved, even doing agility courses etc. - while still being adorable of course. Jonathan really understands dogs, and helped us to also understand our dog. He is very dedicated and thorough, also very professional and reliable. I recommend him very highly.

Cannot recommend Philadelphia Dog Academy enough!! Jonathan is not only one of the kindest, most genuine people I’ve ever met but is BY FAR the most helpful, patient, motivated and educated dog trainer one could ask for. He helped our dog with severe reactivity conquer every little fear, from roller blades to his biggest fear of dogs. Jonathan worked incredibly hard to truly, and deeply understand our dog from his perspective, and then explained in detail to us, step-by-step. He made me feel so much more confident and hopeful with each session. He’s a dog whisperer who will go above and beyond to figure out how to do what’s best for you and your pup to make everyones lives happier and easier- it’s truly amazing.
