My husband and I met Mark over 8 years ago when we brought home our very first pup, a 12 week old Great Dane. We knew that in the future, she would become a big girl and we needed to have the ability to handle her. Mark spent a lot of time discussing the type of training he does, and what our lifestyle is like so that Jinx would be able to accompany us on any adventure! We were apprehensive on using a E-Collar but we tested it on ourselves before ever thinking to put it on our dog. Throughout the training period, we received ample videos and photos of her progress. We saw such a great transformation in our Dane in just a week! Fast forward 8 years, and we have hired Mark to train two more pups we added to our family- another Great Dane (9 months old at time of training) and a Dachshund (14 weeks old at time of training). Both my husband and I are beyond thankful for Mark's knowledge in both the breeds and the wisdom of how to train each pup differently to match their personalities. To this day we still hear from Mark to check in on our pack. Both my husband and I consider Mark a friend for life to us and the puppies. Thank you Mark for helping our pack be the best pack they can be, under any circumstance.

Took my four month old yellow lab for constant nipping, pulling during walks and barking at people. When I got her back she was a transform new dog. So much more calmer. She’ll follow directions. There’s no more nipping or barking at others. Walks are stress free there is no more pulling, she can actually go on walk around the neighborhood with her leash off. We get constant complaints on how well behaved she is specially for her age. We couldn’t been more pleased with Mark from Dog N Pooch!!

Mark at Dog n Pooch did wonders with our 5 month old Mini Schnauzer! We were a little hesitant to send her away for training, having tried it all myself for the first month. Left with a pup that was out of control on walks, pulling, jumping, growling, barking at any passer by. She was leaving battle scars from the biting and jumping up on me and my mother. The fights between the other small dog we have and her were horrendous and thought if we don’t try this, one may be left bleeding. It was a last resort to say the least, but it was time. Mark made us feel very relaxed and communicated with us the whole week with videos of progress and texts. He answered numerous questions and dialogue. I can’t say enough about Mark and his training system. Pepper amazes me by responding to the verbal commands, walking off leash and staying on bed when asked of her. Her personality and response to the program came shining through! She and I enjoy walks in the neighborhood and parks. Looking forward to the beach soon. We were able to meet up with a friend and her dog for some play time. Really changed our lives and Pepper’s for the better. She is a joy to have around and we continue it to use the training system daily. Our communication with Mark continues today as he asks how she’s doing and likewise I send video updates to him. He really cares and loves what he does!

Mark and his training were an absolute game changer. We love our 18 mo old black lab but she’s gotten so big and we needed help reining her in. Our neighbor recommended Mark and he was super responsive when I reached out. In a matter of days, she is so well behaved! She stays on her bed when we walk in the door and waits for us to set things down and come to her to greet her - not a small feat since we have 2 small kids who love to greet her with squeals. She walks next to us without a leash and will follow “heel” if she gets off track. She used to resist or play when we’d call her to come inside and now it’s one command and she’s at the door. We are so so grateful for Mark and his training, we received so many videos while he had her we knew she was in the best hands. And Mark patiently guided us through the training so we can keep it up and continue with consistency. training a puppy with 2 young kids has been so overwhelming, but Mark was a lifesaver! Now we can enjoy having a well behaved family dog, knowing she’ll be safe and not running away or jumping on people. Seriously the best investment. My only regret is that we didn’t come to Mark sooner!
