Dogology University

Dogology has been a tremendous place for my German Shepherd Scout and I strongly recommend it for anyone looking for training, daycare, and boarding services for their dog. Scout first participated in the 4 week boarding school program. I was initially nervous about leaving her in a strange new place but Dogology quickly the trust of both Scout and myself. Their daily video recordings made it easy for me to get eyes on Scout and see how she was doing and it was clear the trainers were doing a great job. Instructor Fred H. was also a tremendous teacher not just for Scout but for my partner and I. He gave us good weekly coaching and advice on how to effectively take home the practices and concepts Dogology trainers were applying with Scout on a daily basis. He was also responsive to our email questions and is clearly invested in the research and science behind healthy dog behavior training. After graduating the boarding school program, Dogology became Scout's daycare location. Though it's a long drive between Ypsilanti/Ann Arbor to Canton the staff at Dogology and Scout's happiness more than compensates. The daily videos of Scout's supervised play sessions and written report cards put my mind at ease and reinforced that the Dogology staff are committed to a high standard of quality and care for the dogs in their trust. It was also great to continue to see and check in with Instructor Fred. Though Scout had graduated from the boarding school program, he never hesitated to offer insights and coaching on how we could work with Scout. Finally, Dogology has also become our dog Scout's boarding/hotel when I'm away for work travel. The staff have been helpful in accommodating odd drop-off times and Scout's stays are clearly comfortable, productive, and fun. Dogology is the invisible partner in our home when it comes to taking care of our dog and ensuring she has a safe, supported, and engaging life. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Can't say enough good things about Dogology Canton! We acquired a stray pitbull and would not have been able to keep him if not for Dogology. Ice Cube successfully graduated from their 6 week board and training program. He gets along well with our other dog, but still attends Dogology for additional lessons to work on reactivity with strange dogs and slowly but surely he is improving. The staff is wonderful and we can tell they love him as much as we do. We have learned so much. Thank you for helping us be able to keep this super snuggly boy in our family!!!
