I have a dog, Princeton, who is a rescue chihuahua and is terrified of new people other than me. For a year I was not able to leave to go anywhere without him as he would growl and bite others just sitting there. I was desperate as I had my parents 50th wedding anniversary party to go to in Maryland and I had to find someone to watch him. I called and got a consultation with Andy and he said they could work with me. After just socialization he is a new dog and able to be around others without biting. We are still working on training but everyone has said that he is a different dog!! Highly recommend Dogs By Andy and I will take what I have learned and apply it to my current and future dogs.

I first discovered Dogs by Andy when I realized my standard poodle puppy was smarter than me! Andy came highly recommended by several of my husband’s race team co-workers. That was 14 years ago when training was held in an open field and my view of the importance of dog training was forever changed! Andy trains your dog but even more importantly he trains the dog’s human! I loved the classes and the results were unimaginable! After only 10 sessions I could walk my dog off leash anywhere. With the addition of agility training she could climb 10’ walls, cross cat walks, do the weave poles and dive through tunnels. Porsha was a hit in many parades walking off leash, by my side, completely unfazed by all the noise and distractions. Andy’s training takes your relationship with your bff to amazing new heights. In my opinion it would be an injustice to any dog and owner to not be afforded the opportunity to train with Andy. Andy’s success really speaks for itself as he’s come a long way since the days of training rain or shine in a field! I am currently training my two new standards in Andy’s state of the art facility in Mooresville! From the minute you walk in the door and are greeted by Ms Lauren, the sweetest most accommodating receptionist you’ll ever meet, to the immaculate dog merch store, the indoor and outdoor training areas, the agility courses and boarding areas to the ever exceptional personal and group training sessions with Andy, Eric, Jared and Rebecca you can’t help but be impressed! Pictures of numerous celebrities and the dogs he’s trained adorn the walls and when you are there you are also treated with the respect and importance of any celebrity! Andy has a slogan on his wall “train them once enjoy them for life” and I think that really sums up the importance of training your dog with the very best from the beginning! There’s really no place like Andy’s
