TLDR: If you’re on the fence about board and train STOP hesitating and book Scott NOW. I just got my 1-year-old Cocker Spaniel, Marz, back from Scott’s 2 board and train program and I am genuinely emotional about the transformation. This is not an exaggeration: Marz is like a completely different dog. The reactivity, the jumping, the pulling all gone. We went on a walk today and I actually felt relaxed. I’m not white-knuckling the leash or bracing for chaos. I’m simply enjoying a peaceful walk with my dog. I didn’t think that was possible a 2 weeks ago. What sets Scott apart isn’t just the results to me it’s how he works. He is incredibly knowledgeable and patient, but more importantly, he took the time to help ME understand my dog. He didn’t just train Marz and return him; he equipped me with the necessary tools, language, and confidence to continue the work from home. The whole process was smooth, communicative, and stress free . If your dog is reactive, jumpy, struggling with basic obedience, or you’re just at your wit’s end, Scott is your person. Worth every single penny. 10/10, no hesitation!

Scott is the best, his board and train program was exactly what I was looking for: in his own home, with other dogs, and focused on socialization. My dog was very excitable and unable to pass other dogs calmly on leash. Through the videos he took while she was with him and during our go-home lesson, it was clear he helped SO much and set very clear expectations. He was easy to communicate and work with, and it was refreshing to experience a dog trainer that was focused on connection and socialization rather than fancy obedience and band aids on the issue! Can’t recommend enough.

I highly recommend the 2 week board and train. My friend’s dog went through the training and after seeing the results and hearing about the program, I knew it would be a great fit for my dog. Scott really takes the time to listen about the things you would like your dog to improve on and he explains his methods thoroughly. We got consistent updates throughout the course of the training, but Scott is also very reachable if you need to get in contact. When Scott brought my dog home from training, he gave us an in depth lesson of everything he taught him and helped us learn the training tactics. He has also been following up with me to see how progress is going since my dog returned home which has been great. When my dog returned home, I could tell he was well taken care of and loved while away. My dog was still the happy boy he always is, but now he is way better behaved! I truly think his methods work and although 2 weeks does not guarantee perfection, my dog’s behavior has improved immensely for the better. The fact that he offers follow up lessons and group lessons post board and train is awesome too. He is a great guy that really cares about dogs and I know he will be a resource for life. If your dog needs training, this is the place to go!

Scott is incredibly friendly and great with our dog. Lessons are low-pressure and fun. We started with the puppy training and have focused on good walking manners, as well as socialization and confidence building. The lessons were great to help teach us how to best work with our puppy and enforce our training. We plan to use Scott again for the board and train while we are out of town and I am confident our dog will continue to excel with his training.
