DogS Gone Good

Absolutely horrible service. Was recommended to me by someone with a reactive dog that doesn't get along with others, as my dog is also that way. Owner was difficult to get hold of and annoyed when I asked questions. Called ahead to ensure that she could have her own cottage without another dog. Owner said no problem, they deal with that often. They advertise that all dogs are boarded in cottage, with access to AC and the outdoors. I was going away for an extended period and this setup was ideal. Picked up my dog after 3.5 weeks to discover they kept her in a small back room in the house for 23+ hours a day. I'm not sure the staff was supposed to tell me that. My dog had lost a lot of weight. She came back completely oblivious about how to walk on the lead and was unbelievably hyper (a very unusual trait for her). I received very few updates and don't believe she was frequently walked. Will never send my dog back here and will recommend that others don't!

We boarded our dogs here recently. There seem to be a disconnect between the owner and her staff....meaning what the owner told me over the phone vs. what the staff told me. Based on how my dogs acted the first week back home after being boarded for only 3 days, I suspect they didn't receive the level of attention that I expected. We don't board our dogs very often, so that may have been a factor, but I think we'll try somewhere different next time.
