I was introduced to Dogs R Us obedience training when I adopted 2 8 week old puppies! Things were a bit unruly, everything was being chewed including cabinets, clothing, everything and I was overwhelmed. Paul swept in, took the dogs for 2 sessions, a 4 week board-&-train followed by a 9 week board-&-train. When they got home, Paul made sure to train me so I could continue the work and ensure the dogs and the humans completely understand one another and live our best life - together. Paul has a way with dogs that I've never seen before, he truly loves the animals, he's patient and kind and loving while maintaining full control. Paul's uses discipline in a fair and appropriate manner and it totally works. He taught me so much about the love between dogs and their humans, and how wonderful life is with animals around - it's definitely easier when they're well behaved and respect our authority. I couldn't recommend anyone more enthusiastically than Paul and Dawn Gonzales for dog training and obedience.

My dog was a lot tougher and I knew that she needed more extensive training. Paul picked up Astrid and took her for a month long training. When Astrid returned the difference was unbelievable. Astrid went from a disobedient dog that I loved but definitely disliked at times to the most loving sweet girl that my whole family enjoys being around. There is nothing we can do..from feeding her to putting on her leash for a walk where Astrid does not want to give kisses. My entire family is thankful to Paul.

Ive have been using Paul to train our great danes for over the past 10 years. He is simply the best. Not only does he have incredible experience in this field but his attention to every detail is remarkable. He has given us a wealth of knowledge to use with our dogs and you can see the trust and respect that our dogs have for him. He is currently working with our latest additions two litter mates that we are hoping to have as therapy dogs to to help others. There simply is no one better than Paul and Dogs R Us.
By far THE BEST dog trainer around. There is no substitute. I wouldn’t trust anybody else with my dogs for training or boarding, and I’ve had both long and short term.
