Dogsense Obedience, Inc.

My Toy Aussie Sherlock and I have been going to Dogsense Obedience since he was 8 months old. I was recommended by previous students. He is a year and a half now. We’ve completed levels 1-3, and Rally twice. We are currently taking Intro to Agility and Obedience. • All the trainers are knowledgeable and so friendly. • They all care and it shows. • They do everything they can to keep dogs safe. • They have one on one classes. • They have more than fair pricing. • They will not hesitate to tell you if you are doing something wrong. More of it is for safety reasons they are not just being mean. Sherlock and I love learning so much and Sherlock has so much fun. I don’t think we will ever stop going and learning.

I absolutely love Debby! I have an American Pitbull Terrier who is a year and a half old and was totally rambunctious, so we did private lessons. After the very first class we noticed a difference in Duke's behavior and by class 2 he'd become a whole new dog. I went from having to crate him when company was over because he was so out of control to being able to walk him to the mailbox with ease and even open doors without him bolting out. My favorite part is I can get him to listen without having to shout. He still has growing and learning to do, and I still have to keep practicing to make sure he's consistent, but Debby has given me the tools I need and has truly helped my relationship with my pup. He understands that I am the alpha, and I understand it now, too. It's a combination of Leadership and Obedience, rather than scolding and timeout (which did nothing but confuse him and aggravate me) I am beyond grateful for Debby and the knowledge she's bestowed upon me. I can't even believe the difference in Duke. People who knew him before are always in awe, and I'm always excited to name drop Debby and Dogsense Obedience. If you've got a pup that's giving you problems, take him/her to Dogsense. You absolutely won't regret it, and won't believe the change in your pup and your relationship with them!

Had a great experience and got to learn a lot. The classes are organized, the homework and training activities are clear and you definitely get to learn a lot. The place is always clean and never smells like dog which is definitely great. I trust the trainers and have been able to better understand my pup and how to train her to be obedient. We didn't complete all the levels here but with what I learned regarding on "how to train" I've been able to teach way more tricks at home too.
