Dogsmartz Unleashed LLC

I will start off by saying I had high hopes for this program. My dog spent some time at the Trumbull county pound before I rescued him and I know the pound takes their dogs to Dogsmartz which is why i went there in the first place. The first person-only class went great and the trainer April seemed knowledgeable. I brought my dog to the next class which started at 7 pm and my dog and I were sent home by 7:06. My dog behaved exactly as I expected, which is the whole reason I was there. He was never near another dog, nor was aggressive. He pulled at the leash and was distracted, all things we were there to work on. If he was well behaved, why would I be taking him to training?? Not to mention there were only TWO other dogs in the class that day. I was incredibly upset, my dog deserved much more than 6 minutes. When April dismissed us, she said i would receive a call to schedule an evaluation to get my dog into a different class. After 5 days of not hearing from anyone, I reached out to April and she said we’ll just put my dog in new spot and to bring him back to the next class. So she never told anyone to reach out to me to schedule an evaluation and now we missed out on an entire class. If I didn’t reach out, I would probably still be waiting. I was going to give them another chance and get the evaluation, but since the Warren location is closing, I will be taking my dog to someone else who will give him more than 6 minutes.

If I could give 10 stars I would about Dogsmartz unleashed!! I did in home training with my Bloodhound. I had the pleasure of working with the owner Jenny Falvey. The training and knowledge Jenny has is phenomenal! Jenny’s techniques and strategies are incredible! Jenny’s technique of training is totally different then any trainer I have seen My dog was a resource guarder of his food and protective of my home. In 4 sessions with Jenny my dog did a 360 degree turn for the good. He tried to attack Jenny on the first session of training. The knowledge of training and technique Jenny has I would highly recommend Dogsmartz unleashedLLC! What I like about Jenny she was very observant and understanding of my dog. She is very caring! Thanks Jenny your the best!
