Met Kathy last year as soon as I rescued my pup - he was around 4 months old at the time, extremely exuberant and skittish. I was very reluctant to take him to a trainer as my previous experience with trainers has not been very positive so therefore I was hesitant. When we met Kathy, all hesitancy evaporated as she is one of the most calm, loving and caring people who immediately makes you feel at ease. Each pup is treated as an individual based on their personalities and with Kathy's method of training, Oliver has overcome so many obstacles in such a short time. His confidence level has increased tremendously and we look forward to broadening our experience together. I highly recommend Kathy at Dog Star Training NJ!!

Having had several dogs in my life, and dealing with other trainers, I found Kathy to be the best. She is extremely knowledgeable, and she doesn’t just train your dog, but she trains you as well. I would definitely recommend Dog Star training, to anyone.

I have been taking my Dog Nala to Kathy's nose work classes and loving them. She is creative and is teaching the dogs to do scent work in an enjoyable atmosphere. They feel rewarded and motivated. Thanks Kathy.
