Dogz101 LLC

Dogz101 accomplished in 3 weeks what we couldn't in 3 months of home training with our then 6 month old doodle. We used to have to cordon off half of our living room with a playpen to keep our puppy from wandering off and eating things that aren't food while we'd do our daily chores. Every time we'd go on walks, it would be a constant battle to keep him on all fours and not lunge at people (little as he is), let alone having him walk beside us and stop when we'd stop. Although he would comply in the moment with basic commands such as "sit", "down" and the like, he'd quickly get distracted and break position. Now he obeys when we bring him to his place mat and say "place", and stays put for hours until we release him. Even when commanded to sit or lie down, he will remain in that position until we give him a break. Walks with him are now much more relaxed. He now walks patiently beside us and does not lunge at strangers. For all this, we are grateful to the good folks at Dogz101 (shoutout to Barak, Priscilla, and Maya), who have helped us not only with kickstarting our pup's induction into polite society, but with the continuing education and mentorship that we need as first-time dog owners to build a strong foundation for our new canine relationship.

So we adopted a pitbull from the shelter and she is a total sweetheart. But she was a little over 1 year old with lots of puppy energy. Just jumped up at you to meet you, and had no concept of boundaries or personal space. She had a nipping problem while she was trying to give kisses and was not potty trained. She wouldn't listen to any commands. And was unruly in the house. She pulled on walks and darted at people to say hi on walks. We chose the 20 day board and train with Barak. After we were reunited with our dog Izzy, she is very responsive to commands like ,sit, down, heal on walks with a loose leash, and most importantly, place. Place, where she will lay down on her cot for hours without breaking it until told to. We still need to keep reinforcing these commands as to keep the training and get her used to obeying and get those deep engrained in her. But we are over the moon with how much of an improvement Izzy has made with Dogs101. She is an obedient dog now with a firm grasp and foundation on responding to commands. If she tries to get lazy with commands or pushes her our boundaries, a simple correction will put her right back into alignment. We couldn't be more thrilled with our results. We next plan on moving forward with Dogz 101 to install a recall for our Izzy. So she will always return to us, for safety concerns obviously. But Barak taught us how to identify behaviors that need to be corrected right away and our Izzy responds to corrections very quickly. She knows exactly what we're asking of her. And we have unlimited Sunday group training classes for life to keep skills sharp and hold command's with lots of distractions and other dogs. Overall we are very happy with our experience with Dogz101. We are now committed dog parents, and intend to keep our dog healthy and disciplined, submissive and happy and keep her safe. Highly recommend Gogz101 for hard case dogs that need to be whipped into shape, or if you have a good pup and just want some solid training that will make your dog very responsive to commands. Check out Dogz101 and I'll tell you, it's worth every penny. Especially for us with a pitbull, we can't take any chances with her not being under control. I highly recommend Dogz101!! When I first started working with them, I was really struggling with Gabby. We had been through 3 dog trainers in the past. Each time she improved, but we could not fix the issue of her recall nor chasing other smaller dogs. She is such a sweet girl, but she has a very strong prey and herding drive. The last time she got into an altercation with another dog. I was so desperate. Dogz101 was recommended to me by a friend. I took Gabby there to train with Barack. What a difference!! He not only worked with Gabby but with us. There were a lot of things we were doing wrong. Barak was really patient with us. It has been 3 months since taking her home. She had some difficulty on making the adjustment back home. Barak was great, working with us again until we all felt comfortable. I can now walk with Gabby off leash, and it is fun to take her places (whereas before I would be scared she would do something). We take her to restaurants, and she can sit quietly next to another dog without any correction. The cost of the training is not cheap, but it is worth it.
