Dokken's Oak Ridge Kennels

My family has been bringing our dogs here for years, so when it was time to get our dog Ruth trained, we knew this was the place to go. We chose to put her through the 8 week family dog program. We've always had great experiences, and this time was no different. Seven did an amazing job with Ruth. She's a sweet dog, but she's also very sassy and stubborn. He put so much time and effort into working with her, and you could tell he really cared about her and loved what he does. He was always kind, patient, and professional, and he turned our crazy girl into a great family dog. My fiancé and I were both really impressed with Seven. He made sure we understood what he was teaching Ruth so we could keep working with her at home. We also want to thank Mike, who worked with Ruth as well. His experience and guidance were a huge help throughout the process, and it's clear the whole team is dedicated to helping both dogs and their owners. We couldn't be happier with the results and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a great dog trainer. Thank you, Seven and Mike, for everything you did for Ruth!

We had our Small Munsterlander, Rip, go through gundog training at Dokken Kennels. He completed the puppy program just after 6 months old, and we brought him back at a year and a half for the intermediate pointing and obedience program. Although being away from him for 12 weeks was tough, it was absolutely worth it—he came back with excellent training for both hunting and everyday life. Justin was our trainer, and he absolutely crushed it. He took the time to walk us through everything we needed to know before heading home, so we can continue reinforcing the training for the rest of Rip’s life. We’re excited to get him out this fall.
