FirstBarkDomino Service Dogs has been great for helping me to train a dog for my Epilepsy. The staff and everyone are super friendly and easy to work with and I would recommend them for anyone looking at options for Service Dogs.

About Domino Service Dogs
Domino Service Dogs (DSD) is a Lakewood, Colorado-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to breaking down the prohibitive financial, physical, and systemic barriers to service dog ownership. Operating under a "by us, for us" disability-led model, DSD empowers individuals with disabilities to train their own service dogs through a structured 2-year owner-trainer program. Domino Service Dogs has been helping my son train a dog we hope will help him in seizure response. The process has been positive. It has given him hope this might become a reality. His confidence has grown considerably.
We have been working with DSD for 2yrs. They are excellent dog trainers who listen and help you problem solve challenges in training a service dog. These skills ultimately make you a better owner because you have put in the time and effort in training your own service dog.

Domino Service Dogs has been an incredible resource for our family. Getting a service dog can be an expensive, complicated, and stressful process, and Domino helps you navigate so much more than just the dog training itself. One of the things I appreciate most is their approach of training the person and the dog together from the beginning. You learn alongside your dog from puppyhood, which allows you to build an incredibly strong bond while you both grow, learn, and develop as a team. Just as important is the community Domino creates. The staff are knowledgeable, patient, kind, and genuinely want each team to succeed. The other people going through the program quickly become part of your support system as well—it really begins to feel like a second family. I would highly recommend Domino Service Dogs to anyone considering the journey of training a service dog. They make what can feel like an overwhelming process much more manageable, supportive, and hopeful.
I am currently training my service dog with domino and I’ve had an amazing experience so far. They’ve helped me find a good dog to train and has helped throughout her puppyhood and will continue to help her into adulthood. I love how domino stays with you for the whole training of the dog from puppy to adult and i couldn’t imagine a better place to go in Colorado.
