About Domino Service Dogs
Domino Service Dogs (DSD) is a Lakewood, Colorado-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to breaking down the prohibitive financial, physical, and systemic barriers to service dog ownership. Operating under a "by us, for us" disability-led model, DSD empowers individuals with disabilities to train their own service dogs through a structured 2-year owner-trainer program. By utilizing 100% force-free, evidence-based, reward-based techniques, such as clicker training, DSD eliminates traditional $35,000–$45,000 agency costs and multi-year waitlists while building independence, community, and public access rights

This is an amazing place and a true community treasure. DSD helps owners to train service dogs through weekly classes and monthly or bi-monthly outings. The trainers are absolute experts, use humane training techniques, and know how to train humans as well as dogs. My family has been working with them since Summer 2020 and we are so happy with all their help. Training a dog is challenging, but I am so glad we chose DSD for this program. They are understanding and accommodating of disabilities (as all such places should be), and they offer the support we need to accomplish great things.

I plan on attending with my dog for an evaluation for this program. they help people with disabilities advocate for them selves and train their own service animals. they really set expectations and let you know what to expect and what kinds of behaviors will not work in their program. they set realistic expectations. I loved every min.
